I was hiking out of bounds at Bear Mountain Resort in 2004 and saw this amazing landscape. I went around taking stills with my disposable black and white camera. As I was walking away with my snowboard I had this idea of leaning the two boards against the tree. So I proceeded to vertically lean  both boards against the tree. As I was positioning myself to take the shot a funny thing happened, the board on the right decided to slide of the branch to the ground… it was perfect.  And thus was the beginning of my new obsession!
